Calendar

The Gonzy calendar allows you to manage all of your meetings without leaving Gonzy.

Integrations

You can sync with Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar from the integrations page. Navigate to the integrations page by clicking on the gear icon in the header and then click the Integrations link.

To import your meetings, click on the Connect button below the Calendar Integration, select your platform and you will be redirected to a sign-in consent page from Google or Microsoft where you grant consent to Gonzy to view and modify your calendar events and then you will be brought back to the Gonzy app when you are done granting consent. Now if you navigate to the Calendar page from the same header dropdown menu of links you should see all of your meetings synced from your selected platform.

Meetings

You can create one-off meetings at a particular date & time and invite attendees to those meetings.

Click on the + Create an Event button. You will see a dropdown - select Meeting. You will then see a popup to enter the name & meeting description, select a date & time, platform to create the video conferencing link from, invite attendees and the meeting will be set on your calendar.

In order to automatically add video conference links to the meetings that you create in Gonzy you will need to go back to the Integrations page and connect Google Meets. You will be redirected to a Google hosted page where you grant consent to Gonzy to make video conference links from your account and then you will be brought back to the Gonzy app and you can start creating meetings with Google Meets links tied to them.

Calendar Links

Calendar links allow you to set your availability and share a booking page with a calendar and available times for people to book meetings with you.

To create a calendar link - click on the + Create an event button. A drop down will appear - select Calendar Link. You will then be prompted to select the name and description of this calendar link. Meetings created from the calendar link will include this name and description as well as the person who booked the meeting.

Select the general date range that you want to allow users to book meetings from (for example current date up to 90 days in the future). Then, choose the platform to create video conference links with. For this you can integrate with Google Meets on the integrations page. You simply grant Gonzy consent to create Google events and video conference links on your behalf and then you can add video conference links directly from your Gonzy booking page.

Finally, it's important to set your availability. Navigate to the availability section by clicking on the Set Availability button on the top right of the calendar page. From here you have two options for setting your availability. You can set weekly recurring availability or custom availability on specific dates and times.

By default, you will see that your weekly recurring availability is set to Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm in your local timezone but of course you can customize this however you see fit.

Switching to the Custom hours tab you select a date from the calendar view and there you can toggle yourself unavailable all day or set your custom availability for that day. The custom availability will always overwrite whatever weekly recurring availability your set.

Of course, it's also remembering that any times where people have already booked a meeting with you will no longer be available to select from for the next people viewing your calendar link.

You can share your calendar link with people so they can book a meeting with you from the Calendar Links tab. Click the Copy Calendar Link button or you may also click the embed button to copy an embed code which you can paste on your website.

Notifications

From the My Events or the Calendar Links tab on the calendar page you can customize the SMS & email notifications associated with your events. You can set custom copy for the confirmation, follow-up and reminders message as well as customize the timing for these messages. These messages will be sent to all attendees. The variables dropdown next to the message inputs allows you to insert dynamic event data.
